Wes Maas

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) & Managing Director

Wes Maas is the founder and has been actively involved in the business since its inception. He has been instrumental in developing Maas Group into the leading independent construction materials, equipment, services and property provider it is
today. Wes brings over 18 years of experience in the construction and services industries to Maas Group.

Stephen Bizzell

Non-Executive Chairman

Stephen brings over 25 years of experience in mining, energy, and financial services. Stephen is the Chairman of corporate advisory and funds management group Bizzell Capital Partners. He has extensive governance experience as director or chairman of 14 ASX-listed companies. He was previously an executive director of Arrow Energy for 12 years until its takeover in 2010, a co-founder and director of Bow Energy until its takeover in 2012, and a co-founder and director of Stanmore Coal until its takeover in 2020.

TANYA GALE

Executive Director Corporate Development

Tanya joined Maas in July 2019 with over 20 years of experience in the property and construction sector and a track record in the preparation and execution of IPOs, acquisitions and post-transaction integration. Tanya has strong FP&A, financial management, and accounting skills developed from extensive experience in large corporations, mid-size subsidiaries and start-ups. Tanya supports the growth across the real estate and construction segments. Tanya was appointed to the Board in October 2022.

DAVID KEIR

Independent Non-Executive Director

David is a highly experienced executive with over 30 years in the property industry, during which he successfully led and grew the value of several property companies. David was from 2010 until 2016 the Managing Director and CEO of Devine Limited, an ASX-listed property group with operations in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia, and in regional geographies across Australia. David is currently the Chief Development Officer for the Port of Brisbane, overseeing the planning, development and ongoing portfolio management of a diverse property portfolio consisting of various land uses, including industrial, transport operations, marine infrastructure, retail/commercial, and environmental buffer areas.

MICHAEL MEDWAY

Independent Non-Executive Director

Michael has worked in the professional accounting industry for almost 30 years. He has been a Chartered Accountant for over 25 years, and his background has seen him work across various firms in Sydney and Regional NSW. As the principal of Lincoln Partners Dubbo and later a director of Lincoln Partners Pty Ltd. Michael has been the external accountant for Wes Maas and his companies since 2002, and Maas Group upon its formation. Michael retired from Lincoln Partners Pty Ltd in June 2020 and was subsequently appointed to the Board.
